The Adventures of Hathan Nenderson in
Star Wars
Episode 3.5
"A Romance On Alderaan"
By Dee-Dee Drake
The galaxy is in a state of unrest. The Republic Senate has been disbanded and in its place the Emperor Palpatine has begun his reign of tyranny. His new apprentice, Darth Mary, quells uprisings that occur against this empire with brutal, uncompromising force. Departing one of these planets, Babederaan, she thinks of the man she just met and how much she would like to see him again.
Hathan Nenderson escaped from the attack on Babesville on the Correlian Tantive IV which was headed to the planet of Alderaan. His magnificent body was wracked with the pain of his injuries but he could still feel the gentle, trembling hands of the nurse as she mended his bloodied frame. The nurse, Amy, could hardly believe her eyes. She had heard tales of what the men from Babederaan were like, but she did not believe that they were true. Her perception of what her ideal man was shattered instantly at the sight of Hathan. She had removed Hathan’s tightly fitted, silk shirt to work on his injuries and her breath was taken away. His body was superior to that of the chiseled marble of Michelangelo’s David. It was as if God himself had taken a chisel to the purest marble and created this masterpiece of manhood. She gazed up from here to his face and her breath was taken away. His hair was the colour of midnight, flowing back in waves from the perfect complexion golden-brown face. He finally opened his eyes and she lost herself in them. They seemed to have the depth of the most deep and mystifyingly immense ocean which she could not escape. Hathan finally stirred after his experience on Babederaan. He opened his eyes and was taken aback by what greeted them. An angel stood in front of him. He had never seen beauty so fair. Her soft golden curls cascaded down to her shoulders as if a waterfall had perfectly captured the final |
rays of the setting suns of Tantooine. Her bright blue eyes were like the pale blue of a humming lightsaber, piercing into his heart. Her lips were as red as the most perfect rose delicately placed between lovers on a midsummer’s eve. He spent the rest of the flight to Alderaan gazing at her while she worked in tandem with the medical droids to make sure his gorgeous, masculine physique stayed as it was.
The Tantive IV landed in the capitol city of Aldera and Hathan and Amy disembarked together. Quickly a friendship blossomed between the two. Hathan felt different about this friendship though, something stirring in his heart, it felt like a small rodent, snuggling down in a bed of wood shavings desiring the warmth of another for comfort. He wanted to talk to her, be with her and tell her about his day. It was strange. Soon, his days were focused around his time with her. But alas the happiness could not remain as some citizens of Alderaan were in support of the Empire and reported back to Darth Mary who had put out a search warrant for Hathan. Through them, she heard reports of Hathan being with Amy and was filled with jealous rage. She then ordered the unspeakable, the destruction of an entire planet by the Empire’s newest weapon, the Death Star. The time came when Hathan had to return to Babederaan, his job, and his people. He promised to keep in touch with Amy and visit as much as possible as he boarded a passenger ship at the space port. His ship was about to enter hyperspace as he watched something that appeared to be a small moon round the planet. While he watched, a massive laser powered up and fired at Alderaan. The entire planet was destroyed in a split second as his passenger ship entered hyperspace, away from the asteroid field that had been Alderaan. Nathan wept. |
